Virgini Mullins

Danville Virginia Mullins, 77, of Danville, passed away on March 31, 2014. She was born March 13, 1937 in Danville, IL the daughter of Louis and Dorothy Henderson Thomas. She married James Mullins in August of 1990, in Danville. He has since preceded her in death. She is survived by her sisters, Sandra West, Carol Thomas, and Norma Jean Weiner; her brothers, William Thomas and Raymond Thomas; her many nieces and nephews; and her very special friends Gordon and Charlotte Parsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother Jimmy. Virginia loved going to rummage sales she also enjoyed going to local thrift stores. She was a puzzle solving queen the more pieces the better. Virginia also loved to visit with her friends; of which she had many. When she was in living in her apartment building Virginia had a special friend Gladys Musson; Gladys would walk and play with Virginias dog for her. Above all else, Virginia loved her family she will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. A celebration of Virginias life will be held at 2pm on Friday April 4, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. A visitation will be held on Friday April 4, 2014 from 1pm to 2pm at the funeral home.
