Cayuga, Ind. -- Virgil Wayne Marshall, 66, of Cayuga, passed away at 3:59 p.m. EST Saturday (March 3, 2007) at West Central Community Hospital in Clinton, Indiana. He was born January 13, 1941 in Lodi, Indiana in Parke County, Indiana, the son of the late Gernon"Dutch" and Elizabeth L. Newnum Marshall. He married Carol Nipple on July 2, 1961 in Brodhead, Wisconsin. She survives. Other survivors include: one son, Lyle(Carol)Marshall of Kingman, Indiana; one daughter, Laurie(Frederick)Farley of Cayuga, Indiana; four granddaughters, Lois, Rachel, Roxie and Shannon Marshall; one grandson, Taylor Marshall; three sisters, Wildena Joy(Fred)Ellis of Covington, Indiana; Carol Mosley of Tangier, Indiana and Sondra(Lonnie)Trinkle of Tangier, Indiana; two brothers, Ore Paul Marshall of Dana, Indiana and Ricky(Barbara)Marshall of Orange, Texas; one aunt, Dorothy Newnum; special friend, Lori Pearman of Dana, Indiana and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by one son, Andrew"Andy"Marshall and two brothers, Perry and Roy Marshall. Virgil was a I.S.A. member of the Cayuga Church of the Nazarene. He formerly worked at Allith Prody in Danville, Illinois. He attended school in Tangier, Newport and Cayuga. Virgil enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and going to auctions. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services: 2 p.m. EST Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana;Officiating: Rev.
