Virgie E. DuBois Virgie E. DuBois, 104, of Danville passed away at 4:50 am Wednesday April 7, 2004 at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Danville. Virgie was born September 12, 1899 in Harmony, IN the daughter of the late John H. and Magnalina (Scheper) Altman. Virgie married Alfred F. DuBois on February 14, 1918 and he preceded her in death on October 25, 1971. Survivors include 1 daughter Evelyn (Archie) Lehmann of Danville, 1 brother John M. Altman of Huron, OH. 6 grandchildren Marla (Jack) Sprouls of Lynden, WA Janine (Stewart) Roberts of Atlanta GA Lynn (Rick) Brown of Palm Coast FL Frank (Marsha) Goodson of Simpsonville, S.C. Joe Goodson of Wadley GA 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 1 son Jack and 1 daughter Maxine Goodson. 1-grandson Don Goodson 4 brothers and 4 sisters preceded her in death. Virgie was a homemaker and a longtime active member of Vermilion Heights Christian Church, since 1949. Virgie was also a member of the Eastern Star # 854 for over 50 years. Virgie was very proud of the fact that she assisted in many, many, children's deliveries at home. Virgie also loved her flowers and tending them.
