Virgene Lorean Miller, 68, of Georgetown, IL, passed away at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at her home. She was born September 24, 1936 in Sidney, Illinois, the daughter of Virgil and Arvilla (Menges) Neuman. She married George T. Miller on March 16, 1956 in Danville, Illinois. She is survived by: her husband of over 48 years- George T. Miller of Georgetown; 1 Son- Kenneth (Debbie) Miller of Ridgefarm, IL;1 Daughter- Brenda (Roger) Coon of Catlin, IL; 6 Grandchildren- Megan Hannah of Canal Fulton, Ohio, Kristi (Matthew) McGee of Catlin, Joe Miller of Fairmount, IL, John Tellier of St. Joseph, IL, Mark Miller of Urbana and George Miller of Canal Fulton,Ohio; 4 Great-Grandchildren- Jacob McGee, Tatum, Tristan and Shaylie Miller; 3 Brothers- Joe (Sharon) Neuman of Belgium, IL, George (Jackie) Neuman of Bismarck, IL and Richard Neuman of Danville; 1 Sister- Delores "Dee" Sprague of Tilton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 Brothers- Robert and Jerry Neuman. Virgene gradated from Oakwood High School in 1954 and was a member of Pleasant Mound Church of Christ in Georgetown, IL. She worked at General Electric for 24 years, and then worked for McLean for 9 years until her retirement in 2003. She dearly loved her family and friends, flowers, traveling and hummingbirds. A celebration of the life of Virgene Lorean Miller will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2004 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion, Danville, with Rev. Paul Kent, officiating. Burial: Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Georgetown, IL. Visitation: 2-6 p.m., Sunday, October 31, 2004 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion, Danville.
