Viola Neff

Viola Mae Neff, 92, of Danville passed away at 7:50 pm, Sunday, July 1, 2007 at North Logan Healthcare Center. She was born on April 9, 1915 in Fowler, Indiana, the daughter of Robert M. and Fronie E. (Selz) Park. She married Harold Neff on January 25, 1938. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1975 . She is survived by four daughters, June Carpenter of San Antonio, Texas, Mae Goldman of El Cajon, California, Saundra Neff and Carol Neff, both of Danville, one sister, Florence Katie Blake of Freeland Park, Indiana, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Rosa Lyons, and brother, Martin Bus Park. . Viola graduated from Freeland Park High School in Freeland Park, Indiana. She was a homemaker. Viola enjoyed knitting and reading. She was a member of the Hooton Church of Christ. A celebration of life for Viola Mae Neff will be held Saturday at 10:00am, July 7, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., with Pastor Kevin Cox officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-8:00pm, Friday, July 6, 2007 at the funeral home. Memorials in Violas name may be made to Hooton Church of Christ.
