Vincent J. Warren

Vincent "Vince" J. Warren, 82, of Champaign, passed away at 2:38am, Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at his home. He was born on October 28, 1934, in Mahomet, IL, the son of Dale and Nellie {Furnish} Warren. He was united in marriage to Linda Morton on December 26, 1955. She will miss him dearly. He will also be missed by: his children, Rick (Teri) Warren of Monticello, Tim Warren of Greentown, IN, Brian Warren of Broadlands, IL, & Kim (Todd) Dalle of Homer; his grandchildren, Matt, Gina, Josh, Jess, Preslee, Bryson, Jonathon, Ron, Kevin, TJ, Bryce, & Austin; his great grandchildren, Ben & Quentin; his brother, Charles (June) Warren of Mahomet; and his sister, Betty Bohlen of Neoga. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and his brother-in-law, Harm Bohlen. Vince enjoyed bowling, fishing, & wood working. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Carpenter's Union. He retired from tile specialist and was an honorary member of Carpenter's local. Vince was a proud Veteran of the US Navy and served during the Korean War. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. A celebration of Vince's life will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Grandview Cemetery, Champaign, IL. A visitation will be held 1:00pm - 3:00pm, Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Sunset Champaign-Urbana Chapel, 710 N Neil St, Champaign, IL.
