Vince E. Savage

Vince E. Savage, 53, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022. He was born on August 5, 1969, the son of Lela (Ashby) and Elton Savage in Hoopeston, IL.

Vince leaves behind his mother, Lela Savage; wife, Kimberly Savage; children, Andy (Megan) Savage, Thomas Savage, Tyler (Kylie) Knight, and Abbie Knight; brother, Greg Savage; and beloved fur friend, Taz.

How do you start the obituary for a man that meant so much to the people around him? Vince was everyones best friend. He was the greatest husband, father, and friend you could ask for. Vince was a jack-of-all-trades. He knew something about everything. He always had the answers. He loved his family more than anything. He was proud of his kids, Andy, Thomas, Tyler, and Abbie. He also loved his fur-friend, Taz. His wife, Kim, and him were the best of friends. They were soulmates and didnt do anything without each other. Some of his sons best memories of him involved starting projects on their cars, houses, and more. There was always a funny story to be told. He was involved in everything his family was interested in. Vince also loved his things. He had a secret stash of snacks next to his desk. He had every tool you could imagine in your shop. Whatever the occasion, he was the most prepared. We gave him a hard time for it, but we all appreciated it. In his later years, Vince loved his Friday nights with his family. It was a tradition he looked forward to every week. He was the person you could come to with anything. He had the biggest heart. We dont know a world without Vince, and we will miss him very much.
