Victor Goff

Victor Eugene Goff, 62, of Danville, passed away at 12:03 p.m. Thursday, November 01, 2007 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. Victor was born on May 13, 1945 in Danville, the son of Louis S. and Anna (Phillips) Goff Sr. He is survived by one brother- Allen (Betty) Goff of Danville; one sister- Joyce Lazzell of Tilton; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces and nephews; and all of his extended family at the Shultz House and Cross Point. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother- Louis S. Goff Jr. Victor attended Second Church of Christ. He has lived at the Schultz House for the last 15 years. Victor gave so much to everybody and he was truly a blessing to all who knew him. He never met a stranger and was loved by all. He loved to gather with his friends and his family. Everything was a party to Victor. He loved his family, children and singing karaoke. He also enjoyed collecting wrist watches. He was known at the Schultz House as a ladies man. He was a very special person and will be sadly missed by all the people that knew him. Graveside service for Victor Eugene Goff will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Sunset Memorial Park with Pastor Rick Goff officiating. Per the families request Victor will be cremated. Sunsets Community and Life Tribute Center is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Schultz House 340 Bryan Ave. Danville, IL 61832.
