Vickie Zaayer

Vickie L. Zaayer (Brewer), 66, of Westville, Illinois, passed away on early Wednesday January 28, 2026, with her family by her side. Vickie was born in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Brewer and Violett (Treadway) Cockrell on August 13, 1959. Vickie married Vernie Denton, later married Mike Zaayer who she leaves behind.

Vickie also leaves behind her daughter Amanda Noel, three sons, Jeremy Zaayer, Bryce Zaayer and Joey Zaayer, six grandchildren; Camisha Noel, DeQuan Noel, Ty Noel, Tavious Noel, Tinlley Zaayer, and Aston Zaayer, four great grandchildren; Brixston Snow, Nahara Snow, Lylah Snow, and Kinley Stitt, her soul mate, Missy Hoffman, and Becky Anderson her best friend, sister Lori (David) Emirick, brothers: Bryan and the late Jackie Jackson, Allen (Teresa) Cockrell, Bill (Pam) Brewer, many nieces and nephews.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents and one son-in-law Mike Noel Jr.

Vickie bartended for 18 years at many places. She loved doing crafts, watching her son Joey doing Derbys, she loved her fur and feather babies Dusty, cats; Macie May, Winston, dog’s; Pebbles, Ziggy, Snoopy, Giget, Abbie, and Lilly Bug.

A visitation for Vickie Zaayer will be held at 11am-12pm on Wednesday February 4, 2026, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Ceneter Urbas Chapel 414 S State Street Westville, Illinois 61883. Celebration of Life will be at the funeral home at 12pm. Burial to follow at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
