Vickie Lynn Lesly

Chrisman, Ill. - Vickie Lynn Lesly, 65, of Chrisman and formerly of Westville, Illinois and Odessa, Texas, passed away at 12:46 p.m. CDT Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 7, 1952 in Danville, Illinois to Ralph M. Lewis and Eva M. Burns. She is survived by her children; James L. Lesly of Buffalo, Texas; Jonathan Matthew Lesly of Odessa, Texas and Angelia Lesly of Odessa, Texas; siblings, Barbara Switzer of Cayuga, Indiana and Priscilla Webb of Perrysville, Indiana; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and a very special friend, Brenda Camarata. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers. According to her wishes, her body was donated to science. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date in Odessa, Texas. Memorials may be made to Harbor Light Hospice of Illinois or Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman, Illinois. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana assisted the family with arrangements.
