Vicki Rouse

GEORGETOWN - Vicki Jo Potter Rouse, 60, of Georgetown, passed away at 11:30am, Monday, January 1st, 2007, at her home. She was born February 25th, 1946, in Danville, IL, to Milo and Mary (Norris) Potter. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Albert, Willie, and Steve Potter, a sister; Lynn Potter, and a nephew; Travis Potter. She is survived by her daughter, Sherri (Brad) Land of Georgetown; here two grandchildren, Dani Land of Georgetown, Jake Land of Charleston, SC; three brothers, Donald Mouse (Pam) Potter of Indianola, IL, Keith Rocky (Leslie) Potter of El Mirage, AZ, Sam (Mary Jo) Potter of Georgetown; four sisters, Sara Mingee of Tilton, Susan (Bob Voyles) Malkus of Fairmount, IL, Sharon (Keith) Walker of Georgetown & Shelley Butchie (Bobby Land) Potter of Ridge Farm, IL, as well as her 23 nieces & nephews; her 45 great nieces & nephews; her four great-great nieces & nephews; and her many special friends. Vicki loved spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by all that knew her. A celebration of Vickis life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, January 6th, 2007, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown. Reverend Phil Jackson will officiate. Final resting place will be held at Johnson Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be 4p-8pm, Friday, January 5th, 2007, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made in Vickis name to donors choice.
