Vicki Conner

Vicki Conner, 68, passed away on April 1, 2018 at her home in Covington, IN. She was born on February 6, 1950 to Dale and Helen (Swingle) Allen. She married Jack Conner on June 26, 1966 in Vermilion County, IN, he survives. Vicki loved flowers and gardening. She took tremendous pride in her hospice care work. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed taking care of all animals, but especially Boston Terriers. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mike Demoret, her hospice nurse, for all his care in her final days. She was preceded in death by son, Jackie Conner, II; brother, Tom Allen; mother, Helen Swingle; father, Dale Allen and granddaughter, Kaylee Conner. She is survived by her husband, Jack; sons, Mike (Tracey) Conner, Philip (Lee) Conner, Paul (Shawn) Conner, Joe (Holly Reese) Conner; sister-in-law, Jane Allen; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews that she loved dearly. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Sunset's Covington Chapel, 420, 3rd Street, Covington, IN 47932. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the funeral home, with burial immediately following at Gopher Hill Cemetery in State Line, IN.
