Vern E. Mcdaniels

Cayuga Vern E. McDaniels, 69, of Cayuga, IN passed away on December 16, 2021 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.

Vern was born on March 31, 1952 the son of William and Elma (Landers) McDaniels in Danville, IL. He married Diana P. Loden on October 4, 1980 in Danville, IL and she preceded him in death on December 30, 2021.

Survivors include his daughters, Shane (Eric) Shanks of Danville, IL, Jamie (Mark) Thompson of Crawfordsville, IN and Misty (Michael) Ross of Georgetown, IL, his son, Billy Loden of Dana, IN, 15 grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren as well as seven siblings, Mark, Emanuel, Ricky, Billy, "Punky", Sissy and Penny.

Vern is preceded in death by his parents and after his passing in December, his wife Diana passed away.

Vern served his country in the United States Army and was retired from Bumper Works where he worked in Quality Control. He enjoyed spending his free time fishing, hunting, and gardening.

Private family services will be held and Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.
