Truxton Shank

JoAnn M. Shank, 74, of Kingman, IN and formerly of Danville passed away on March 27, 2009 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. JoAnn was born November 23, 1934 in Danville daughter of Earl and Rene Noel Dedlow. Survivors include two sons: James (Ilene) Shank of Terre Haute, IN and Alan (Kelly) Shank of Waterloo, NE; sisters: Juanita Clay of Casa Grande, AZ and Eleanore Gossett of Sunnyvale, CA; grandchildren: Justin Shank, Kyle Shank, Roman Shank, Tyler (Jana) Shank, Troy Shank, and Kara (J.P.) James; great-grandchildren: Jaidyn Cooper & Jeron Shank; two very special friends Maryl and Rick Maxfield. She was preceded in death by her parents. JoAnn was a 52 graduate of Schlarman High School and had worked 40 years as a bookkeeper in the automotive industry. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, knitting, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. A memorial visitation will be held from 12-5 pm Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL.
