Troy Johnson

Troy Johnson, 45, of Georgetown, passed away at 3:38pm, Monday, August 19, 2013, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He was born on May 14, 1968, in Danville to Darlene {Kuykendall} Long, who preceded him in death. Those who will miss him include: his civil partner, John Wright; his brothers, Fred (Hope) Johnson & Darrell Long; his sister, Christina Davis; his nieces & nephews, Korey Kruger, Mackenzie Long, Jessica High, & Ceana Davis Hamer; his stepchildren, Susan Allsopp, Jennifer (Daymen) McGrown, & Jeremy (Josie) Wright; and his special friends, Charlie Johnson, Jeff & Mary Hamer. Troy loved his 2010 Dodge Charger, computers, electronics and anything he could tinker with. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Troys life will be held at 12:00pm, Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown. Visitation will be held 10am-12pm, Thursday, August 22, 2013, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in McKendree Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in his name to the American Cancer Society.
