Covington, Ind. -- Tressie Marie Drollinger, 52, of Covington, Indiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, April 29, 2008. She was born March 18, 1955 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, the daughter of Sullivan"Dan"Nogle and Ernestine Beede Nogle, and married Kenneth W. Drollinger on November 2, 1974 in Cayuga, Indiana. All of whom survive her. Other survivors include: two daughters, Kelly(William)Kuntz, and Kaitlin Drollinger; one granddaughter, Izabel Marie Kuntz; two brothers, Sullivan"Bud"(Teresa)Nogle, Jr. of Greenwood, Indiana and Scott(Sharon)Nogle of Cayuga, Indiana; father and mother in law, Harold(Rosemary)Drollinger of Kingman, Indiana; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Tressie was a teacher at Covington Elementary School, where her love and good deeds made an impact on numerous young lives. An active member of the West Liberty Church of Christ in rural Covington, Indiana since 1974, Tressie lead Bible studies and was a Sunday School teacher. She was a 1974 graduate of North Vermillion High School. Tressie started the Small World Preschool in Cayuga, Indiana. She later worked at the Cayuga Christian Church Preschool. Tressie was a volunteer for the Womens Resource Center in Covington, Indiana. She will be remembered as an excellent mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend at 10 a.m. EDT Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the West Liberty Church of Christ, 2806 West State Road 32, Covington, Indiana 47932; Officiating: Pastor Sam Guilliams. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Friday, May 2, 2008 at the church. Contributions may be made to the Womens Resource Center, 501 Jefferson Street, Covington, Indiana 47932 or the Tressie Drollinger Fund (proceeds of which will go to children in need) in care of Covington Elementary School. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
