Trella Mae (Campbell) Pabst, 84 of Danville passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, November 15, 2015. She was born on June 6, 1931 the daughter of Lloyd and Lois (Hobbs) Campbell in Bushnell, IL. She married Glenn Pabst on February 12, 1950 in Hannibal, MO. He survives. Also surviving are Gaylin (Debbie) Pabst, Deanna (Mark) Harbison, Rhonda Pabst and Paula (Matt) Wolfe, two brothers; Dale (Joy) and Calvin (Sherry) Campbell, one sister; Vila (Richard) Hird, eight grandchildren; Garett (Kim) Pabst, Garth (Diana) Harbison, Joseph (Jessica) Pabst, Nathaniel Harbison, Wesley (Katie) Pabst, Tristan, Rylan and Ella Mae Wolfe, four great-grandchildren; Tucker Pabst, Lillian Pabst, Kirk Pabst and Dylan Pabst and two more soon to arrive. Trella was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and there spouses; Reverend Dorothy Reed (Reverend Robert), Letha Tucker (Robert) and a sister in law Sadie Campbell, and a daughter in law Jeanie Pabst. Trella was a member of the Community Church of God, she held numerous positions in the church as a Sunday school teacher, a board member, active in the women's missionary society, coordinating countless meals, using her many musical talents as pianist and choir member, also working passionately alongside her beloved sister with missions locally, nationally and globally. She was a selfless servant to her Lord, family, and all who knew her. She was truly the example of unconditional love and grace. Trella loved and supported her husband Glenn. Together they built and maintained a family owned business starting in 1953 which is still operating today. She also enjoyed attending auctions, buying antiques, refinishing/restoring furniture and above all supporting and encouraging her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in all of their school and sporting events. A celebration of Trella's life will be held at Community Church of God on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm. A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday, November 19 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm with Sunset Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Entombment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park following the service on Friday. Memorials may be made in Trella's name to the Community Church of God Missions, India Gospel League, or Mission Haiti.
