Torie D. Bond

Kingman, Ind. - Torie D. Bond, 51, of rural Kingman, passed away at 7:43 p.m. EDT Friday, April 10, 2020 at her parents residence after a long battle with cancer.

She was born on April 28, 1968 in Clinton, Indiana the daughter of James 'Jimmy' L. and Rita (Baird) Bond.

She is survived by her parents; brother: Jeff (Becky) Bond of Veedersburg, Indiana; half brother: Roger Bishop of Terre Haute, Indiana; half sister: Rachel (Erik) Tiefel of Lebanon, Indiana; aunt: Ruth Ann (Raymond) Bush of Lodi, Indiana; uncle: Charley (Nancy) Bond of Dana, Indiana; special cousin: Dixie House of Linton, Indiana and special friends: Gloria and Jody Delp and Kathy Hawn all of Cayuga, Indiana.

Torie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Don (Thelma) Bond and maternal grandparents: Louis (Norma Jean) Baird.

Torie was a homemaker. She attended the Cayuga Church of The Nazarene. Torie graduated fromTurkey Run High School in 1986 and was a graduate of Indiana State University. She enjoyed working on puzzles and raising flowers.

Due to the current health crisis a private family graveside service will be held at Miller Cemetery in Lodi, Indiana. A Celebration of Life gathering will be announced at a later date.
