Tonia Farnum

Muncie, IL. Tonia L. Farnum, 63, of Muncie, IL., passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at her home.

She was born April 27, 1960, in Danville, IL., daughter of the late George and Jaunita (Bell) Brooks.

She is survived by her children: Corey (Carol) Brooks of St. Joe, IL, Kevin Farnum (Rachel) of Geneseo, IL., Kyle Farnum of St. Joe, IL., Kelly Farnum of Fithian, IL.,; her grandchildren:;Hunter Brooks, Madelyn Farnum, Elliott Farnum, Keith Farnum and Clara Brooks; her brother: Timothy Brooks of Bondville, IL; her sister Kimberly (Aaron) Allen of St. Joe, IL; and her ex-husband: Russell Farnum of Catlin, IL.

Tonia graduated from St. Joe-Ogden High School and later went on to Parkland College where she pursued her degree in nursing. Throughout her time as a registered nurse, Tonia worked for several nursing homes in the area. In her spare time, Tonia enjoyed cross-stitching, crocheting, gardening and reading. She was a Blackhawks and Bears fan and could be found at home watching them with her cats that she adored. Tonia loved spending time with her family, and they will cherish the time they were able to spend with her.

Per Tonias wishes, cremation rights will be accorded and there will be no services at this time. The family will arrange a Celebration of Life in the spring. Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion Street Danville, IL., 61834 is honored to be caring for Tonias family.
