Tommy R. House, 62, of Danville, IL passed away August 10, 2006 at 1:00 am at his daughters residence in Georgetown. He was born June 29, 1944 in Danville, the son of Thomas Edward and Eva Katherine (Sears) House. He was married to Connie Denney for nineteen years. She survives; along with five children: Michele (Bassam) Alruwaily of Georgetown, Tommy (Vicki) House of Monticello, Amy (Alex Sanchez) Grimes of Danville, Tony (Jennifer Johnson) House of Westville, and Jennifer (Joaquin) Flores of Danville; eighteen grandchildren; special friend and caregiver Kamsiyah; three aunts: Ollie, Mary and Marie; and several cousins. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Patricia House and Brenda Taylor; one granddaughter- Makayla Flores; one niece April Taylor; and one aunt- Bertha Graves. Tommy worked for 16 years at ATI. He enjoyed going fishing, bowling, remodeling, and spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Tommy was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He loved his job and the people he worked with. A Celebration of Tommys life will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Danville, with Pastor Joe Humrichous officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral Home. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Kidney Society, American Heart Association, Vermilion County Animal Shelter, or to the Lupus Foundation.
