Tom Jordan

Tom Jordan, 85, of Westville, passed away at 8:27am, Friday, December 4, 2020, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville. He was born on April 26, 1935, in Indianola, IL, the son of Gilbert and Madeline {Stewart} Jordan, both deceased. He was united in marriage to Judy Hager on February 2, 1963. She will miss him dearly. He is also survived by his son, Eric (Tracy) Jordan of Westville and his grandchildren, Thomas Jordan, Noah Jordan, & Emily Jordan. Tom was a proud Veteran of the US Army. He worked at the Capital Group in Champaign and served as warehouse foreman. He was a member of the Westville Fire Department for over 25 years. He served as Chief, EMT, and was one of the first members of the rescue squad. In his spare time, he enjoyed model trains and fishing. His grandchildren were the most important to him and he never missed a ball game or school event. He cherished his family and his best companion, Daisy. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Visitation will be held 10:00am 12:00pm on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883. A private family service will be held. Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, face masks are requested and social distancing practices by all visitors.
