Tom Brooks

Tom Morgan Brooks, 74, of Rossville, IL. passed away at 12:56pm on Sunday August 28, 2016 at Carle of Hoopeston, with family and friends by his side. Tom was born May 17, 1942 at 221 West Main Hoopeston the son of John and May (McBride) Brooks. Tom married Cathy Cain on April 12, 1980, she survives. Also surviving Tom are his four sons Tommy, Christopher, Matt and John, two granddaughters Hailey and Hanna, his beloved friend Bernadette, one sister Celesta, one brother John and one special niece Jackie Fern. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, one brother George. Tom was always happy to yell at the Cubs or the Bears during their seasons. Per Tom's wishes cremation will be accorded, with a memorial service at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville are in charge of arrangements.
