Todd Marion Chesnut Todd Marion Chesnut, 46, of Vallejo, California, formerly of Rossville, passed away Friday, January 9, 2009, at Sutter Solano Medical Center in Vallejo, California. Todd was born on January 8, 1963, in Danville, the son of Marion and Rita (Creighton) Chesnut of Rossville. He is survived by his parents, one sister-Tara (David) McGraw of Lexington, Illinois; paternal grandparents- Jean and Eva Chesnut of Danville; and his nephew Brandon and niece Rachel. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents- Lowell and Edna Creighton and niece-Lily Anna McGraw. Todd graduated from Potomac High School in 1981. After high school he graduated from Parkland College and Roosevelt University. He worked for 20 years as a paralegal. Todd worked for Howrey Law Firm as a Senior Litigation Paralegal for 13 years in Chicago and later in San Francisco. He was a member of the Potomac Church of Christ. He loved cars, especially Ford Thunderbirds. Todd always enjoyed watching the Illini and the Olympics. He loved music and enjoyed spending his time playing the piano. Todd also was a history buff and loved to talk history with his Dad. Todd was very family oriented. He was a devoted uncle and was best buddies to Brandon and Rachel. Todds gift was his dry sense of humor and he always made everybody feel special. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. A Celebration of the Life of Todd Marion Chesnut will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, with Pastors Miles Clark and Eric Hoover officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2009, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Manns Chapel following the service.
