Tod A. Wolfe, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, departed this world on February 9, 2025, in Urbana, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and warmth that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. Born on January 5, 1963, in Danville, Tod lived a life filled with dedication to his family and a passion for his work.
For many years, Tod contributed to the agricultural community through his career at Trisler Seed Farm, and he further honed his skills at Bell Helmet and Sygma, becoming a trusted and respected figure in each of his roles. His strong work ethic was matched only by his deep devotion to his family and friends.
On October 2, 1981, Tod married his high school sweetheart, Sue (Hooker) Wolfe. Together, they forged a remarkable partnership that spanned 42 wonderful years, filled with cherished memories and unwavering support for one another. Their bond was a testament to the purity of true love and companionship.
Tod's spirit was vibrant, and he embraced life with enthusiasm. He found joy in various hobbies, from fishing and working on cars to creating lasting memories with his grandchildren. His laughter and warmth lit up every gathering, and his grandkids, Shaelynn, Alivia, Heavenli, Christian, Ashelynn, Jayden, Blaze, Avan, and Kaydence, were the apples of his eye. He relished the time spent with them, imparting wisdom and sharing stories, ensuring that his love would be carried forward through generations.
Tod is survived by his beloved children, Jessica (Christopher) Cunningham and Justin (Ashley) Wolfe, who will carry forward his legacy with pride. He also leaves behind his loving sisters, Teresa Richardson, Tammie Griffin, and Deb Johnson, alongside amazing friends and neighbors Jim (Treva) Simmons who were touched by his friendly nature.
Though Tod has joined his parents, Donald and Betty Wolfe, and his siblings, Tonya Wolfe and Donnie Wolfe, in eternal rest, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family. The lessons he taught and the love he shared will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
As we remember Tod A. Wolfe, we celebrate a life beautifully lived, a life full of love, laughter, and endless memories. He will be forever missed but never forgotten.
