Timothy Wright

Timothy C. Wright, 46, of Oakwood, passed away at 9:35 AM on Thursday, October 3, 2013 peacefully at his home. He was born on February 28, 1967 in Danville, the son of Timothy Wright and Elaine (Lynch) Morgan. He married Vickie Hickman on June 16, 1990 in Danville. She survives. Surviving him are his parents,Grandma Lynch, wife, one son- Lukas Wright, two daughters-Breana Wright and Kayla (Kevin Beaulier) Wright and their daughter- Lylah Beaulier, one brother- Tom (Allison) Wright, one sister- Jennifer (Terry) Townley, mother in law- Dee Hickman, step dad- Terry Morgan, three brother in laws- Eric (Angie) Hickman, Glenn (Tammi) Billings and Greg (Faith) Dunn. Tim loved all of his family including many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tim was preceded in death by his Grandpa and Grandma Wright, Grandpa Lynch and one special father in law- Phil Hickman. He graduated from Oakwood High School and worked at Danville Metal Stamping as a welder for the last 16 years. He coached many Oakwood sports for his children and the community including, youth basketball, 5th and 6th grade basketball, soccer, football, baseball and softball. He loved coaching the youth softball and baseball teams at Oakwood Park. He was a member of Second Church of Christ in Danville. Tim loved playing sports, riding motorcycles, camping, hiking, fishing, and walking around town with his wife and dog “Bosco”. Tim was baptized February 25,2012 alongside his son. He loved his church and every Sunday sat in his favorite pew through all the pain and exhaustion from the cancer that was overtaking his body. Tim was a one of a kind guy which would be very evident with just one conversation. He cared more about how the other person was doing or feeling than his own well being. His positive attitude and love of God was an inspiring testimony to all his family, friends and community. Tim especially loved Dr. Labayog and all the wonderful and caring nurses from the cancer center and his special hospice nurse. A celebration of Tims Life will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville with Pastor Drew Mentzer officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM on Monday, October 7, 2013 at the funeral home in Danville. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Tims family.
