Timothy W. Partin

Timothy Wayne Partin, 51, of Oakwood, passed away Friday December 1, 2017. Tim was born in Gary, IN on July 2, 1966 the son of Phillip and Faye Partin. He is survived by his two step-daughters, Samantha Winters, Amanda (Jon) Homann; sisters, Pam (Dave) Taylor, Cathy (Jerry) Summers; brothers, Mike (Robyn) Partin, Allen (Beth) Partin and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Zackary Partin. Tim was a graduate of Oakwood High School class of 84' and later attending Eastern Illinois University where he received a degree in teaching. Tim was a veteran of the Navy and a truck driver for many years. In his spare time Tim liked woodworking, boating, fishing, kayaking and riding his motorcycles. He left a lasting impression on all he met and will be missed by so many who loved him. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am Friday December 8, 2017 at Sunset's Oakwood Chapel 105 E. South Main St. Pastor Jeremy Martens will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 7, 2017 from 5pm to 8pm at Sunset's Oakwood Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery.
