Timothy Reed Miller

Timothy Reed Miller, 23, of Danville, passed away at 7:20 a.m. Saturday, June 16th, 2012 at his home. Timothy was born on February 28th, 1989, in Danville, the son of James and Kelly (Killion) Miller. They survive. He is also survived by two sisters- Jennifer Racquel Miller of San Francisco, California and Jessica Sue (Christopher) Swearingen of Hoopeston; brother-James Edward Miller Jr. of Danville; niece-Kylie May Swearingen; maternal grandmother- Susan Killion of Danville; paternal grandmother- Ann Guyran Miller of Danville; four uncles- Marc (Janice) Killion of Danville and Kris (Clara) Killion of Georgia, John C. Miller Jr. of Round Rock, Texas, Joseph Raymond (Barb) Miller of Humble, Texas; and cousins- Travis, Whitney and Christopher Killion of Danville and Mindy, Joseph and Christina Miller of Texas. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather- Norman Killion, paternal grandfather- John C. Miller, great-grandmother-Margaret Martin, and nephew- Nicholas Swearingen. Timothy graduated from Danville High School in 2007. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 2007, serving in Afghanistan until 2011. He enjoyed playing music, camping, fishing, bonfires and just spending time with his family, friends and his dog-Dude. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. A Celebration of the life of Timothy Reed Miller will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 22nd, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home, with Pastor Doug Knapp officiating. Burial will follow the service at Gordon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
