Timothy Owen Wright

Timothy Owen “Tim” Wright, 64, of Oakwood, passed from this life at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana at 12:55 AM on November 19, 2013. He was born on September 15, 1949 in Chicago, IL, the son on Thomas Owen and Mary Agnus (Henson) Wright. He will be deeply missed by one son, Thomas (Allyson) Wright, one daughter, Jennifer (Terry) Townley, one daughter in-law, Vickie Wright, eight grandchildren, Kayla, Ryan, Breana, Michael, Noah, Lukas, Elijah, and Liberty, one great grandchild, Lylah. Also surviving him are his siblings, Ed Wright, Dave (Vicky) Wright, Julie (Larry) Hall, Jerry (Terri) Wright, Bob (Brenda) Wright, Don (Ellen) Wright, John (Wendy) Wright, Jim (Shari) Wright and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Jayne Wolfe and a son, Timothy Clyde Wright. Tim was a loyal worker for Champaign Local #149 as a pipefitter for 39 years. He loved watching motocross, stock car racing, and RC cars. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved NASCAR. A celebration of life memorial service for Tim will be held on November 22, 2013 at 7:00 PM at Sunsets Oakwood Chapel.
