Tim L. Robinson

Danville – Timothy Lee Robinson, 67, of Danville passed away at 11:46 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at OSF Sacred Heart. He was born on April 10, 1959, in Danville to Richard Lee and Barbara Joan (Osborne) Robinson.

He is survived by a son, Cruz (MaryAnn) Robinson of St. Joseph, IL; four grandchildren, Kynlyn, Alaya, Walker, and Silas Robinson; mother, Barbara Robinson; four siblings, Tony (Kathy) Robinson, Tammy Bennett, Robie Woods, and Richie Robinson; fiancé, Nancy Crisp; step-children, Wade Mascari and Savanah Fugate; best friends, Rick Trimble, Doug Hafner, and Jeremy Moody; and many nieces, nephews, and other close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Robinson, his grandma and grandpa Osborne, and a nephew, Jesse Bennett.

Tim had worked at Heatcraft in Danville for 25 years before moving on to drive a truck at the Fairmount Rock Quarry for an additional 18 years. When he wasn’t working, Tim could often be seen out riding on his Harley. He loved to spend time with his fiancé, Nancy, as well as his many friends, especially when he did so with an ice-cold Bud Light in his hand. Tim’s greatest love was his family and he cherished the time he had with them and the moments they shared together.

A service to celebrate the life of Tim Robinson will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61834. Pastor Ron Sillings will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, May 14, also at Sunset in Danville.
