Thomas W. Deffenbaugh

Thomas W. Deffenbaugh, 53, of Danville died at 8:15pm, Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. He was born on June 23, 1957, in Danville, IL the son of Frank Deffenbaugh and Marilyn Hawkins. He will be missed by: his mother, Marilyn (stepfather, Robert) Hawkins of Danville; his son, Jordan Deffenbaugh of Kentucky; his grandson, Kyle Deffenbaugh of Westville; his brothers, Randy Deffenbaugh of Danville, Rodney (Sheree) Deffenbaugh of Sidell, & Robert Hawkins of Danville; his sister, Tammy Hawkins of Danville; his many nieces & nephews; his good friends, Bob Carpenter & Jeff Davis, both of Danville, & Scott Taylor of Kingman, IN. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Wayne Deffenbaugh. Thomas enjoyed NASCAR, playing horseshoes, mushroom hunting, and especially enjoyed listening to music and sitting by a fire. He was good friend and will be dearly missed by all who loved him. A celebration of Thomas life will be held at 11:00am, Monday, November 22, 2010, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Chapel, A Life Celebration Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown, IL. Pastor James blue will officiate. Visitation will be 2-6pm, Sunday, November 21, 2010, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery. Donations are to be given to his family to aid in purchasing a headstone.
