Thomas 'Tom' W. Neal

Thomas Tom W. Neal, 83, of Westville, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, Chrisman. He was born October 16, 1931 in Danville, the son of Harvey and Suzanna (Davis) Neal. Tom was united in marriage to Genevieve Hamilton on September 29, 1956 in Westville. She will miss him dearly. He will also be missed by: his son, David Neal of Danville; his daughter, Brenda (Bill) Sager of Danville; his grandchildren, Cole (Aimee) Neal, Cyle (Shanda) Neal, Bill (Laura) Sager, and Nick (Darcy) Sager; his eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice (Don) Berry of Florida; and one brother-in-law, William (Nancy) Hamilton of Danville. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Bob and George Neal. Tom was a proud Veteran of the US Army serving as a CPL in the Korean Conflict. He worked at the VA Illiana Healthcare Systems for 29 years retiring on his birthday in 1991. Tom cherished his time spent with family and friends very much. He will be remembered affectionately by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Toms Life will be held at 11:00am, Friday, March 6, 2015, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville with Pastor Dave Leary officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to his service at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Westville American Legion Post #51.
