Thomas 'Tom' Ramsburg

Thomas "Tom" Gregory Ramsburg, 77, of Champaign passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at his home with his family. He was born in Frederick, Maryland, on December 5, 1945, the son of Claude and Ethel Mae Ramsburg. On April 15, 1967, Tom married the love of his life, Annette S. (Robison) Ramsburg, she survives.

Tom is also survived by his son, Todd (and wife Dawn) Ramsburg of Alexandria, Virginia; granddaughter, Madeleine Ramsburg; brother, Donnie Lawson of New London, North Carolina, and sisters, Patsy Pratt of Walkersville, Maryland, Kim Lawson of Jefferson, Maryland, and Gina Bowers of Hagerstown, Maryland.

He is preceded in death by his father, Claude, mother, Ethel, stepfather, Clyde, and brothers, Jerry and Ricky.

Tom worked for McCormick Distributing & Service for over 40 years. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf and, while playing, made many lasting friendships. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and truly loved spending time with his granddaughter, Madeleine.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 5pm to 7pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 710 N Neil St. Champaign, Illinois 61820.

Memorial donations may be made in Toms name to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or Shriners Childrens Hospital.
