Thomas 'Tom' L. Liles

Thomas L. Liles, 66, of Georgetown, passed away at 3:01pm, Friday, May 13, 2021, in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on July 10, 1954, in Harriman, Tennessee, the son of Hermin and Thelma {Turner} Liles. He was united in marriage to RoxAnn Raymer on December 22, 1972 until her passing on December 24, 2000. He was later wed to Jane E. Wyman in July of 2003, until her passing on January 17, 2021. Tom was known to be a hard worker and a loving, dedicated father, as well as a devoted grandfather. He worked for Wyman Gordan for 28 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, going mushroom hunting and hunting. He was affectionately called Big Tom or Big Red and never met a stranger. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Tom is survived by his children, Greg (Kim) Liles of Georgetown, Robert (Dalee) Liles of Westville, Michelle (Chad) Miller of Covington, Erin (Ryan Hill) Liles of Danville, & Michael (Katie) Liles of Clinton; his stepchildren, Misty Turner of Georgetown & Shane May of Champaign; his grandchildren, Zachary, Jasmine, Sterling, Gracie, Brayden, Brittany, Lauren, Malayna, Gage, Austin, Shelby, Lincoln, Lailah, Laniya, Vann, Whitlee, Jonathan, Raeleigh, Andrew, & Ashley; his great grandchildren, Braxton, Brinley, Zaylen, his siblings, Ronald, Darlene, Darrell, & Angela; the Raymer Family; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Roxann {Raymer} Liles; his wife, Jane {Wyman} Liles; his step grandson, Andre; and 7 brothers and sisters. A celebration of Toms life will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846 with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Wednesday prior to his service at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Newman, Illinois. Memorial donations may be given to his family to assist with final expenses.
