Thomas Rodriguez

Danville, Ill. - Thomas Rodriguez, 74, of Danville, passed away at 3:46 p.m. CDT Monday, April 25, 2022 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

He was born September 22, 1947 in Mission, Texas the son of the late Cayento and Paula (Almaguer) Rodriguez.

Thomas married Betty J. Nolen on September 18, 1998 in Danville, Illinois. She survives.

Other survivors include his children: Tommy Rodriguez and Stacy Willis both of Indianapolis, Indiana; Lisa (Miles) Gulling of Florida and Bobby Rodriguez of Wisconsin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister: Elita Jones of Indianapolis, Indiana, and caregivers: Michael (Denise) Murdock of Danville, Illinois.

Thomas was preceded in death by two stepsons: Michael Murdock and Greg Nolan; three sister and five brothers.

Thomas was a retired truck driver (50 years), last working for Hicks Farms in Perrysville, Indiana. He was of Christian Faith. Thomas enjoyed gardening, horseshoe pitching, detailing his cars and watching the Indiana Hoosiers and Dallas Cowboys.

Funeral services: 1 p.m. EDT Friday, April 29, 2022 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana with cremation following services. Visitation: Noon EDT Friday, April 29, 2022 until time of services.
