Thomas Lee Overstreet

Thomas Lee Overstreet, 66, of Danville, passed away at 5:55am on Monday October 1, 2018. Thomas was born in Sturgis Michigan on October 11, 1951 the son of Gerald K. and Virginia L. Overstreet. He is survived by his brothers, Robert (Cathy) Overstreet of Chatham, IL, Lerry Overstreet of Milwaukee, WI, Randall Overstreet of Denver, CO and several nephews and nieces. Thomas is preceded in death by his mother and father. Thomas was a graduate of Springfield High School class of 1970. In 1972 he entered the Air Force and was honorably discharged. Thomas was a resident of the VA Hospital in Danville, Illinois. He enjoyed playing cards, listening to music, and spending time with his friends. A private graveside service will take place at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.
