Thomas Lee Kincade, Sr.

GEORGETOWN - Thomas Lee Kincade, Sr., 66, of Georgetown passed away at 7:12am, Thursday, January 24th, 2008, at his home. He was born on March 22nd, 1941, in Middleport, IL, the son of Harry and Stella (Murray) Kincade, both deceased. He was united in marriage to Verna M. Rollins on January 16th, 1960, in Woodland, IL. She will miss him dearly. Others who will miss Thomas include: his sons, Thomas (Tina) Kincade of Homosassa, FL, & Richard (Teara) Kincade of Georgetown; his daughter, Tina (Steven) McBee of Westville; his fourteen grandchildren; his sixteen great grandchildren; his sisters, Jean Gossitt of Hoopeston, Alice (Harold) Thiele of Watseka, & Carol (Charles) Nale of Danville; his step brother, Edwin Schroder Jr of Kankakee; his step sisters, Margarett Tafflinger of Hoopeston & Shirley Schroder of Woodland. His two brothers, Ernest & Arthur, preceded Thomas in death Thomas enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, electronics, and hunting. In his younger days, he raced stockcars on the dirt track. A celebration of Thomas life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, January 26th, 2008, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown, IL. Pastor James Blue will officiate the service. As per his wishes, he was cremated. Memorial donations may be given in his name to Carle Cancer Center.
