Thomas H. Viskniskki

Thomas H. Viskniskki, 91, of Danville passed away at 3:40 PM Thursday November 18, 2004 at Provena United Samaritans Logan Campus. He was born May 4, 1913 in Clay City, IL the son of Harry F. and Lillie (Brissenden) Viskniskki. He married Mary Ellen Mellinger October 8, 1938 in Champaign, IL. She preceded him in death. Survivors include one son Thomas P. (Karen) Viskniskki of Peoria and two granddaughters, Annika Viskniskki of Peoria and Maggie Wilson of St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Thomas was an active member of St. James United Methodist Church having served as a former board member. He was a mason and belonged to the Olive Branch Lodge #38, Scottish Rite Valley of Danville, a life member of Elks Lodge #332 and a member of the American Legion Post 210. Thomas had served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII and was active in the automobile business in Danville for 35 years.
