Thomas David Huber

Thomas Huber, 65, of Fithian, passed away on April 9, 2013 at Richard Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on September 3, 1947 in Danville, the son of Robert and Dorothy (Anders) Huber. He married Deborah Evans on April 16, 1982. She preceded him in death in 2003. Surviving him are two daughters- Sara Huber of Fithian and Daniele (Sam) Howie of Brookston, IN, two brothers- Robert "Bobby Jo" (Shareen) Huber of Danville and Jack Huber of Florida, two sisters- Margaret "Bunni" Rose of Danville and Lucia (Perry) Stegemeyer of Danville, two grandchildren- Dustin and Natalie Howie, brother-in-law- Warren (Judy) Evans of Fithian and very special friends, Doug (Anne) Garrett of Fithian. Thomas received his associate's degree from Danville Area Community College. He was a member of the United States Army, serving his country in Vietnam. He was a draftsman at Paul's Machine and Welding for 15 years, retiring in 2007. A graveside service will be held at Danville National Cemetery on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Paul Witt officiating. Memorials can be made in lieu of flowers in Thomas's name to the American Legion Honor Guard Post #210, 201 Prospect Danville, IL 61832.
