Theresa Mitchell

Theresa Jane Mitchell, 64, of Potomac, IL passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Theresa was born on June 24, 1959 the daughter of Everett and Marjorie (Hohmann) Austin and was originally from Blue Mound, IL area. She married Robert Mitchell on May 14, 2021 and he survives.

Theresa leaves behind her husband, Robert Mitchell, his son, Clint Mitchell, her daughter, Megan Bugg and her son, Paul Brown. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jack, Abi and Robbie, sister, Liz (Mark) Ward, and brother, Tom (Judy) Austin, and sisters-in-law, Pam Baird, Diana (Dave) Winn and Janice (Rocky) Young.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents Everett and Marjorie Austin, stepmother, Mary Austin, one brother, Bill Austin.

Theresa was an Insurance Agent for All State Insurance and enjoyed spending her free time working in the yard, flowers and watching the birds. Most of all, Theresa loved her kids and grandkids more than anything.
