Thelma Mae Baldwin, 95, of Indianola, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017, at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, Chrisman. She was born in Indianola the daughter of Bee & Bessie {Murray} Taylor on April 11, 1922. She was united in marriage to Harold Baldwin on December 13, 1941, until his passing in February of 2011. Thelma is survived by: her son, Steven (Marianne) Baldwin of Ridge Farm; her grandchildren, Stephanie Miles of Ridge Farm, Scott (Paula) Weir of Coulterville, IL, Heather (Chris) Woelich of De Soto, MO, & Alan (Ashley) Baldwin of Ridge Farm. She had very special relationships with her great grandchildren: Trevor Miles, Kayla & Tanner Weir, Steven & Elizabeth Woelich, and Grace & Charlie Baldwin. She is also survived by: her sister-in-law, Donna Taylor; her special cousin, Ruby Martin; and cousin, Colletta Johnson. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her daughter & son-in-law, Joan & John Weir; her brothers, Wayne, Joe, & Eugene; and her grandson, Craig. Thelma was a homemaker who loved to cook and work beside her husband on the farm. She was well known as a very kind and giving person. Her family meant the world to her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Thelma's life will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery at 11:00am, Wednesday, September 13, 2017, with David Almy officiating. Memorial donations may be given in her name to Indianola Methodist Church. Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, assisted her family with arrangements.
