Thelma Louise Lewis Marrow Pouilliard went to heaven on Monday, April 9th, 2012 at 3:50 a.m. She is finally at peace and resting in the arms of Jesus. She was born on July 12th, 1925, in Danville, the daughter of Fern (Miller) and Joseph Lewis. She married Roy Marrow on December 21st, 1945. They had four children- Connie (Jim) Chezem, Donald (Phyllis) Marrow, Darold (Joyce) Marrow and Carol (Bobby) Pickett. After Roy passed away, she married Paul Pouilliard on October 24th, 1984. She then was blessed with Paul's daughter-Genieve Estock. She was the best mom and friend and had so much love to give. She went to DACC after her children were raised and got her GED. She worked at K-Mart and retired from Danville Township Senior Transportation Department. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and was director of ministering to the sick and shut In. She later joined Ridgeview Baptist Church. She loved to sing God's praises and was a great yodeler. She also was a member of Fairmount Conservation Club where she loved to picnic and swim. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kristy (Dave) Conner, Karen (Darin) Troglia, Don (Heather) Marrow, Mandy (Clint) Holycross, John (Jennifer) Doggett, Misty (William) Parson, Sheri (Jim) Coffing, Paula (Josh) Holt, Jeri Lynn (Estock) Mackey and John Estock and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son- Donald Marrow, four brothers- Jody, Jack, Carl and Arthur Lewis, two sisters- Betty and Elsie and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She is in heaven with her son and all her loved ones. She was such a Christian woman and was a great example to all who knew her and will be missed. Thank you to all the staff at the Hawthorne Inn for your care for our Mother for all of these years, especially Garden Court and Manor Care. A Celebration of the life of Thelma Louise Lewis Marrow Pouilliard will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 12th, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home, with Pastor Mark Keyser officiating. Burial will follow the service at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association.
