Thelma L. Kepley, age 76, of Danville, passed away at 11:40 am on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born July 21, 1930 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Charles Howard and Mirtle Lavone (Hays) Hackler. She married Richard J. Kepley on December 26, 1974 in Danville. He preceded her in death in 1997. Thelma is survived by two sons: Steve (Lauranna) Gones of Sycamore, IL, Robert (Christina) Spencer of Danville; one brother: Ronald (Jean) Hackler of Bradenton, Florida; and two grandchildren: Lacey and Andrew Gones both of Sycamore, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother: Charles Hackler, a step-son: Rick Spencer and her beloved uncle and aunt that raised her: Robert and Jessica Gooch. Thelma worked as a secretary in the medical field, where she made many special friends. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and her two cats, Mork and Mindy. Thelma also had several life long friends that she loved and will miss dearly.
