Thelma Chadwick

Thelma Fay Chadwick, 81, of Danville, Illinois passed away on May 9, 2010 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. Thelma was born March 14, 1929 in Hardy, Arkansas daughter of Albert and Flora (Richardson) Armstrong. She married Claude Chadwick in 1980. He preceded her in 1982. Survivors include nieces and nephews Ava Rmaila, Steven Turner, Jeff Turner, and Larry Turner; eleven great nieces & nephews and nine great-great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mildred Turner and brother Edward Armstrong, nieces Linda Sykes and Donna Turner. Thelma was a dedicated and loving homemaker that enjoyed spending time with her family. Family dinners and picnics were among her favorite things to do. A Celebration of Thelmas Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 14, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL with Pastor Kevin Cox officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Spring Hill Cemetery in Danville.
