Terry Wayne Bryant, 63, of Danville, passed away at 4:14am, Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He was born on February 21, 1951, in Danville, IL, the son of Samuel O. and Virginia {Pribble} Bryant. Since 1995, he shared his life with Amanda Ladd and then on May 24, 2012, they were united in marriage in Las Vegas, NV. She will miss him dearly. He is also survived by: his brother, Philip (Donna) Bryant of Westville; his nieces and nephews, James (Tatum) Bryant of Westville, Zachary Bryant of Westville, Cathie (John) Gotham of Ft. Myers, FL, Don (Nancy) Crowder of Danville, Brenna (Mike) Atchison of Danville, Tim (Nancy) Crowder of Danville, Mike (Fran) Bryant of Parrish, FL, & Randy (Renda) Bryant of Lafayette, IN; his step-daughters, Alexandra Ladd of Atlanta, GA, Brandi (Cori) Baker of Terre Haute, IN, & Samantha (Gary) Lewis of Atlanta, GA; his great nieces and great nephews, Maddi, Lanni, Remi, Zayne, Gada, Allie, Tyler, Anthony, Kasey, Dawna, Travis, Justin, Lindsay, Whitney, Brian, Christa, Shane, & Dominic; his step grandchildren, Sirlander, China, Princeton, Destiny, Korea, Kirsten, Kadence, & Jackie; and his special friends, Tee Davis of Danville & Paul Ray of Danville. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his sister, Donna Crowder; his brother, James Bryant; a great nephew, Gage Bryant; and a step grandchild, Boston. Terry first worked for Morris-Flamingo in Danville and later worked until his retirement on November 1, 2012, at Lauhoff-Bunge Milling in Danville. He attended Trinity United Church of Christ in Westville. He loved going hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and being outdoors. He enjoyed caring for his horses and other animals, as well as, motorcycle riding. Terry loved traveling. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them and his wife, Amanda. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Pastor Connie Tapp-Bandy officiating. Visitation will be held 11am-1pm, Saturday, prior to his service at the funeral home. As per his wishes he was cremated and will be laid to rest in McKendree Cemetery, Westville. Memorial donations may be given in his name to the Vermilion County Animal Shelter Foundation.
