Terry Randles

Terry Randles, 75, of Covington, passed away at home on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at 7:05am, surrounded by his family. He was born in State Line, IN, September 23, 1939, the son of Lowell and Hazel {Vibbert} Randles. Terry attended Covington Community Schools where he played all major sports. He married Sandy Worgum on October 23, 1959, in West Lebanon. She survives. He leaves behind: three children, Mark (Karla) Randles of Covington, Kerry (Angie) Randles of Veedersburg, & Becky (Bob) Hawkins of Frankfort; four grandchildren, Kelsey(Brock) Myers of Williamsport, Kasey (fianc, Clay McIntosh) of Williamsport, Taryn (Kolby) Strebin of Odenton, Maryland, & Bryce Hawkins of Frankfort; one step-granddaughter, Nicole (Eric) Watkins of Las Vegas, NV; 3 step great grandchildren, Jaden, Jastin, his brothers, Walt (Cathy) Randles of Crawfordsville & Dave (Mary) Randles of Attica; his sister, Linda (Jim) Inman of Huntington Beach, CA; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his brothers, Jack, Larry (twin), and his sister, Pat Morlan. Terry was employed at Olins from 1959 to 1966 and then at TeePak from 1967 to 2003 and finally, with the Beef House from 2005 to 2013. He was a member of the Benson Chapel where he was a member of the choir. He loved the Packers and IU Basketball, gospel music. Terry had a great sense of humor and loved to tease people and make them laugh. He served in the US Army in Korea in the 1960's. Terry's family would like to thank everyone who helped take care of Terry. It was very much appreciated. A celebration of Terry's life will be held at 11:00am, Friday, June 26, 2015, at Benson Chapel. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pm, Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Benson Chapel. He will be laid to rest in Mount Hope Cemetery. Sunset's Covington Chapel assisted his family with arrangements.
