Terry Dean Winslow, Sr., 65, of Georgetown, passed away at 12:58pm, Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on February 18, 1950, in Danville, IL, the son of William and Mary {Gray} Winslow. He had previously been married to Patricia Bostwick. She survives. Those who will miss him include: Patricia Bostwick of Georgetown; his son, Terry (Becky) Winslow Jr. of Georgetown; his daughters, Patricia Calderon, Mary Rector, & Lisa (Travis) Delp, all of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Sarah Calderon, Rachel Winslow, Emma Winslow, Chloe Winslow, Brent Winslow, Blake Winslow, Brandon Winslow, Breanna Rector, Brooke Rector, Cody Martin, Chelsey Martin, Cole Delp, & Chase Delp; his brothers, Bill Winslow of Danville, Jerry (Barb) Winslow of Leroy, Dennis (Meda) Winslow of Mahomet; Kevin (Candice) Winslow of Champaign, & Randy Winslow of Ohio; his sister, Arlene Winslow of Texas; and his special niece, Sherry (Ed) Shirley of Georgetown. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Wanda Jones, Linda Winslow, & Lester Winslow. Terry worked for the Chicago Molded Products as a supervisor for many years. He was a member of the First Church of Christ in Georgetown. He enjoyed coin collecting, but above all else, he loved spending time with his family. He was always there to take care of them. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Terrys life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Phil Miller officiating. Visitation will be held 11am-1pm on Saturday prior to his service at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville. Memorial donations may be given in his name to American Cancer Society.
