Terry Badger Iii

Terry Badger III, 13, of Covington, passed away at his home on March 6, 2023. He was born on August 3, 2009, in Danville, IL, the son of Terry II and Robyn {Edwards} Badger, both mourn his loss deeply. He is also survived by: his sister, Zoe Badger; his grandparents, Terry & Mary Badger, Sr. and Ron & Sherry Edwards; His great grandmother, Barbara Badger; his many aunts, uncles, and cousins including: Uncle Tony, Aunt Summer, his cousins, Lyla Jane, Bentley Cain, Charleigh Rayne, Aunt Rhonda Burton, Uncle Ronny Edwards; as well as many more extended family and several friends, especially his best friend, Colton Pettit. Terry loved to participate in sports especially baseball, basketball, and soccer. He enjoyed "parking lot" football and Blitzball. He also collected baseball cards and loved playing Uno. He also liked hunting as well as going mushroom hunting. Terry loved going for rides on the 4-wheeler and on "Grandpas Mule". Terry was always singing and never knew a stranger and was the one person who would stand up for others and be a protector. Terry is going to be missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation for family and friends will be held 12:00pm to 4:00pm (EST), Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Covington Middle School Gym on 5th Street in Covington, IN 47932. A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm (EST), Monday, March 13, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Covington, Indiana 420 3rd St. Covington, Indiana 47932 with Kurt Flora officiating. He will be laid to rest in Mount Hope Cemetery, Covington, IN. The family asks that everyone who attend wear your sports gear or favorite sports team shirt to celebrate the life of Terry.
