Terrance 'Terry' Treadway Sr.

Terrance Terry Leonard Treadway Sr., 64, of West Lafayette, Indiana, formerly of Danville, passed away at 12:44 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2006 at his residence. Terry was born on March 11, 1941 in Danville, the son of Leonard Oscar and Celia Lorraine (Palmer) Treadway. Terry married Sylvia Copper in Danville. He then married Linda Dupree in Danville. After being married to Linda he later married Karen Stevens in Danville, who preceded him in death on October 7, 1991. Terry is survived by his mother- Celia Treadway of Danville; three sons- Terrance Ted (Diane) Treadway Jr, of Westville, Robert L. (Ricki) Treadway of Tilton, and Ronald Treadway of Springfield; two daughters- Terri Lynn Kahzdozian of New Mexico and Tambrey (Craig) Corbin of Danville; three brothers- Richard (Tama) Treadway of Danville, Donald (Dorothy) Treadway of Georgetown, and Charles (Joyce) Treadway of Danville; one sister- Violet Cockrell of Belgium; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by is father Leonard Treadway and his wife Karen. Terry attended Oakwood High School. He worked at Hyster for 11 years. After working a Hyster he went to work at Wabash National Trucks as a welder for the last 20 years. Terry enjoyed racing stock cars were he raced his super stock for 18 years spending time racing in Danville, Boswell and Cornell. He enjoyed reading books, especially the Bible. He also enjoyed traveling. A celebration of the life of Terrance Terry Leonard Treadway Sr. will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, with Rev. Jay Sorrell. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery
