Teri Pate

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teri Lynn Pate (Westville, Illinois), who passed away on February 16, 2023, leaving to mourn her family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family. She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life Richard A. Pate, her son Christopher M. Farren, mother Erma Lou Coy and father Gordon Wasson Sr. She is survived by: her sons, James Andrew Farren (wife Heather), Richard Scott Pate (wife Juanita) and Brian Lee Pate (wife Rebecka); her brother Gordon Wasson Jr (wife Gina), sister Kay Evans; as well as 8 grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Teri proudly worked as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery for over 20 years helping to bring children into this world and loved every one of them. She loved her family fiercely and was cherished by them all. She adored and loved the companionship of her dogs her entire life. Teri was a gifted artist that loved to draw, paint and craft jewelry as well as wood carving. She crocheted blankets for her grandchildren and had a giving heart and servants spirit. She was a devout Christian that shared Gods word with everyone she encountered. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Pate Cemetery, Catlin, Illinois. She will be laid next to Richard. Her arrangements were entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883.
