Teresa 'Terri' Lyons

Teresa J. Terri Lyons, 51 of Georgetown, passed away at 5:08 p.m. Tuesday April 27, 2010 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. She was born on December 3, 1958 in Danville, IL the daughter of Thomas and Shirley (Collom) Razmus. She married Randy Lyons on June 4, 1983 at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Georgetown. He survives. Other survivors include her son, Jake Lyons of Georgetown, her daughter Natalie Lyons of Georgetown, her mother, Shirley Razmus of Georgetown, one brother, Mike Razmus of Georgetown, two sisters, Diana Davis of Georgetown and Angie (Tom) Adair of Georgetown, several brothers in law and sisters in law, several nieces and nephews, a special friend, Dawn Kesner and three beloved cats, Lucky, Leo, and Luke. She was preceded in death by her father, maternal and paternal grandparents, and sister Paula Razmus. Teresa worked for Target for 20 years until they closed. She then returned to DACC and received her associates degree with honors. After DACC she went to work at the Danville Polyclinic as a medical secretary. She attended the Olivet Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed swimming, Bunco, and playing outdoor games with her family. She loved taking care of her flowers and was famous for her macaroni and cheese. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Teresa was very courageous and fought cancer for three years. She never complained and always kept her faith. She always thought of and put everyone else first.
